What to bring to a supplement review

Before your review, complete the separate medicines and supplements sections of your EVA questionnaire. The supplement section covers supplements relevant to your blood- and DNA-based protocol. If you take other supplements, please book a physician consultation to review them.

Can I take too many supplements together?

Yes. Products can contain overlapping ingredients, and supplements can interact with medicines or other products. A collection of individually familiar products does not automatically make a suitable combined routine.

Do not add a product simply because its label promises support for a goal you share. First check how it fits the rest of your routine.

Your intake checklist

  • Medicines: complete the medicines section with the medicines you currently take and their doses.
  • Supplements relevant to your protocol: complete the separate supplement section for your blood- and DNA-based protocol.
  • Other supplements: book a physician consultation if you would like these reviewed.
  • Your reason: what you hoped the product would help with and who recommended it.
  • Relevant context: health conditions, allergies, planned procedures, pregnancy or breastfeeding where applicable.
  • Previous advice: reports and recommendations from other healthcare professionals.

A simple overlap check to discuss

Ask your physician whether any supplements you have disclosed overlap with the EVA products being recommended, and whether medicines affect their suitability. For example, a multivitamin and a separate nutrient product may both contribute to your total intake. Take that observation to the reviewer; do not calculate a new regimen from a website alone.

Questions worth asking

  1. Which products have a clear purpose for me?
  2. Are any ingredients duplicated?
  3. Could any product interfere with my medicines or planned care?
  4. What should I watch for, and whom should I contact?
  5. When should the plan be reviewed?

Leave with a record you can follow

Ask for a clear record of what was discussed and any agreed changes. If several clinicians are involved in your care, ask how to keep the information consistent. Do not change prescribed treatment without advice from the relevant prescriber.
