T.P.’s case: hs-CRP fell 87% over six months

A substantial change in an inflammation marker, with a clear view of what still needed attention. See the blood results, the personalised plan and the priorities at follow-up.

At age 35, T.P.’s results showed room for improvement across inflammation, metabolic markers and cardiovascular markers. Between January and June 2026, hs-CRP fell from 2.29 to 0.29 mg/L and HOMA-IR from 2.10 to 1.14. His two reported biological-age scores also fell: KDM-13 from 42.3 to 35.6 years, and PhenoAge from 31.5 to 27.8 years.

What improved and what still needed work

T.P.’s hs-CRP and HOMA-IR fell, while ApoB remained above the case’s target and HDL fell. Reading the markers together makes the progress and remaining priorities visible, rather than reducing the story to one score.

Starting point and context

The case record describes a DNA- and blood-directed protocol, including the recorded MTHFR C677T AA result and a high-risk coronary artery disease polygenic risk score. Total testosterone increased from 319 to 448 ng/dL without testosterone replacement therapy or other pharmaceutical intervention reported in this case. These are changes observed during the protocol; they do not establish which individual component caused them.

Figures are reproduced from the case record, including qualitative entries and reported percentage changes. Source labels such as optimal describe the case’s interpretation, not a universal reference range. A dash indicates a value not supplied.

Context that matters

  • The source describes this January–June 2026 window as six months. Exact blood-draw dates are not supplied.
  • KDM-13 fell by 6.7 years; PhenoAge fell by 3.7 years.
  • Lp(a) is reported in nmol/L: 113 to 73.5. A recorded coronary calcium score of zero is part of the clinical context; it is not a guarantee about future cardiovascular health.
  • EVA targets in the record include ApoB below 65 mg/dL, Lp(a) below 30 nmol/L and a testosterone range of 500–1100 ng/dL. These are the case’s stated targets, not universal reference ranges.

The recorded protocol

The following items are recorded in this person’s plan. This is a historical description, not a protocol for readers to copy.

  • Berberine 500mg daily
  • Bergamot Phytosome 1AM + 1PM (recently added)
  • Omega-3 2000mg daily
  • L-5-MTHF 500mcg sublingual
  • B12 Methylcobalamin 1000mcg sublingual
  • Vitamin D3+K2 5000 IU daily
  • Ashwagandha KSM-66
  • Magnesium Bisglycinate
  • Bergamot Phytosome (added post-CAC)
  • Zinc Bisglycinate + Copper

What remained in progress

ApoB fell from 124 to 114 mg/dL and LDL from 202 to 174 mg/dL, but both remained a focus for follow-up. HDL fell from 60.6 to 46.2 mg/dL. The source records the addition of bergamot and a focus on cardiovascular training, with possible pharmacological support for the lipid profile if needed. Improvement in some markers did not remove the need to address the others.

Reading the biological-age result

Biological-age scores are model outputs derived from the inputs available to that model. A lower score is not a measured gain in lifespan. Different models use different inputs and should be labelled and interpreted separately.

Did both biological-age scores change by the same amount?

No. T.P.’s KDM-13 score fell by 6.7 years, from 42.3 to 35.6. His PhenoAge score fell by 3.7 years, from 31.5 to 27.8. Neither number represents years added to lifespan.

How this connects to EVA

EVA connects blood testing, clinician-reviewed personalised supplements and follow-up. Blood Intelligence uses your blood results; Elite DNA + Blood adds genetic information. DNA is optional. The aim is a personal plan grounded in your information, with review as new results become available.

Understand your own starting point

If inflammation or metabolic health is part of what you want to understand, a measured baseline gives a clinician something concrete to review.

This is an individual observational case, not a controlled trial. Biomarker changes and biological-age scores do not establish the effect of a particular supplement, predict an individual’s lifespan or guarantee future results. The protocol described was personalised and is not a recommendation to self-prescribe. EVA supports informed health decisions and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease.
